Hans Wehrmann began his professional career in the restructuring department at the Boston Consulting Group. In 1998, he made his first corporate acquisition, laying the foundation for the CERTINA Group. Since its incorporation, he has completed more than 65 successful transactions and restructurings and built the CERTINA Group up into a solid and sustainable industrial holding company with a global footprint.
Hans Wehrmann studied economics at the Université de Fribourg, holds an MBA from INSEAD and earned his doctorate in economics.
Mr. Lampey began his professional career during his studies in the restructuring and insolvency department of an international law firm. In 2002, he took on his first project with the CERTINA Group, where he carried out a complete reengineering of the entire structural and process organization of the previously acquired company as part of a post-merger integration. Since then he has actively supported more than 20 national and international transactions, either as M&A manager for the transaction itself or as investment manager for the subsequent restructuring or streamlining process.
His industry focus is mainly on the food industry, IT and glass industry.
Marcel Lampey studied law at the LMU Munich and completed his legal clerkship at the OLG Munich. He is a licensed attorney and holds degrees in economics from the European Business School (EBS) and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
Wolfgang Wondra began his professional career at BMW in the USA. He joined Certina Group in 2010 following further positions in investment banking and private equity. At CERTINA he is responsible for the Plastics & Packaging division, mainly focusing on packaging in the consumer goods sector. Furthermore, he has a proven track record in mechanical and plant engineering as well as in the paper industry.
Wolfgang Wondra studied mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and holds an MBA from Wake Forest University, USA.
Holger J. Schmidt brings more than 25 years of relevant professional and restructuring experience to his work at the CERTINA Group. After executive positions at HUGO BOSS, Toni Gard, ESCADA and Michael Kors, he was CEO of the European business of Giorgio Armani for seven years. At Michael Kors he was successfully responsible for the market launch in Germany.
After various management positions at Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC), GE Capital and Autoscout 24, where he held the position of CFO, Giovanni Santamaria has been part of the CERTINA Group's management team since 2004. During his long professional career, he has been responsible for numerous corporate transactions in Italy, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and USA.
Giovanni Santamaria studied business administration with a focus on finance at the Università Cattolica Milan and holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
Stefan Brungs contributes more than 30 years of relevant operational experience to his work at the CERTINA Group, 23 years of which he spent in the VW Group. As a member of the board of directors at Bentley and Bugatti, he was responsible for marketing and sales. He then became CEO and successfully managed a portfolio company of KKR in Switzerland.
Before joining the VW Group, Stefan Brungs spent seven years with the Boston Consulting Group.
Stefan Brungs studied business administration at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. He also holds an MBA from California State University and a PHD from Saarland University.
As Director, András v. Kontz is responsible for all M&A activities of the CERTINA Group and supports the CERTINA companies in strategic and operational matters.
He has many years of experience in the field of M&A as well as in the restructuring of companies. Prior to joining CERTINA Group, he worked in several international financial institutions with a focus on PE activities in special situations.
András v. Kontz studied International Management at the ESCP Paris and additionally holds a Master in Science from City University London.
